East meets West – I am in the BIG city now

Well as of a few months ago (September) I drove out East to the big TO (which by the way I was not a fan of upon arrival, however like mold it grows on ya, and kind of digg it now – ya know). Reason for being here – well Ryerson University kicked off a new MFA Documentary Media program. Now after 8 months of serious program growing pains I am beginning the last semester for the year…I just moved in with a rockin’ roomie, who just happens to have a ready made wicked house in the Queen E area. I tend to enjoy biking in the crazy streets of Toronto, spending countless hours on my skateboard, surfing the WWW, love to read, listen, watch – real people and consider life on life’s terms…I tend to write alongside my thoughts and sometimes it seems a bit scattered because that is usually how I am…I enjoy hap and circumstance and being graced by so many good peeps in MY LIFE! I am enjoying my new skateboard and trying really hard to look cool on it for my grrl. I am also in love with cooking and food in general – good food – good lovin’ is also high on my list of lustful life mantras..I am not a fan of curry (yellow) but I am friggin’ trying…I have problems with patriarchy but I am working on it…not my problems – patriarchy…I am huge fan of documentary work – all kinds, film, video, installation, new media, photography, theatre..all and more..I have a gold fish memory and can’t stand sticky hands..love kids, older people, and animals (mostly the furry kind)…If I could wish for anything it would be – just a little more time…
